I finally finished the next book, as long as I don’t open it again. Every time I look at it, I change or rearrange something. Like other authors, it’s hard to let go of it. I keep thinking of things to include or reword. I’m so tired of reading it. This makes about nine times through it.
I have only four items left on my to-do list: get the book cover from the designer; get my ISBN numbers assigned: insert the numbers in the draft: load onto the platform, proof copies, read it yet again, send it to the Library of Congress for registration, and release. It’s a short list compared to where I started from. It’s doable.
I’m not sure the exact date of release but am thinking April 1. It all depends on how fast my cover designer gets back to me. She was waiting for a page count to finish the paperback cover. I know that now that I’ve formatted the book. It’s 283 pages.
Please stay tuned for a firmer date of release. I’ll be glad not to read it again for a while.
